ABOUT MICROBLADING

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo procedure that usually requires two appointments to achieve desired results. It creates realistic brow hair strokes to either build upon existing brows or create new beautiful brows where there are none. Typically microblading will last anywhere from 10-24 months depending on the person’s skin type as well as care given to the tattoo.

MICROBLADING FAQ

How much is microblading?

The fee for microblading is $785, $150 deposit is taken upon booking and $485 is charged at the initial appointment. The remaining $150 is collected at the follow up appointment.
*This price is effective for all appointments booked after January 1, 2020

When do you do the touch up?

The touch up is recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment although it is ok to wait longer than 8 weeks.

Is there a healing process or downtime after microblading?

There is a healing process after microblading which varies from person to person depending on their skin type. It can last anywhere from 7-21 days and can include some scabbing, flaking and itchiness. You will need to follow the instructions given for aftercare to ensure proper healing and to achieve desired results.

Why do I need a touch up?

Microblading is a two-part process and for the majority of clients, the process is not complete without the second application. You can expect microblading to fade 30-40% after the first procedure and will want the second procedure to guarantee the longevity of your brows as well as proper color and shaping.

When will I need to get microblading again and is it the same price?

Clients are recommended to get a touch up a year after their second procedure, the annual touch up will vary as far as how much work needs to be done. Returning clients who have not lost all of the pigment by the time of their annual touch up will not be charged full price but a $300 touch up fee.

Is microblading painful?

Microblading can be uncomfortable but is rarely described as painful, most clients compare it to an intense tweezing session. A topical anesthetic is used on clients prior to and throughout the procedure to maintain a client’s comfort.

How long is a microblading appointment?

Expect an appointment to take 2 hours, some of this time is spent numbing as well as discussing aftercare and healing, not all 2 hours are spent blading.

How do I know what type of shape or color will be done?

A consultation is required for all new microblading clients prior to booking. Although microblading is a semi-permanent procedure it should not be taken lightly, and it is important to make sure the client and I have the same vision and plan for their brows. I prefer a natural look to the brows that I do however am more than happy to create a more sculpted filled in brow if that is your preference. Be sure to look at my portfolio to see my style of work.
